Do you need configuration help?
#A You may bring all the necessary documents (if required), to our office so that we can configure the cameras, router and your PC.
Once done, you just bring everything back and plug them together! Generally, this service ranges from $150 ~ $250.
#B We may also make a trip to your premises to perform the above. The starting price is $250. It gets more if there are a lot more products to integrate.
What about mounting IP cameras?
The base price for a simple mounting & cabling (office environment) is $180.00. Thereafter, the price is $40/ $60 (wireless/ wired) IP network camera. We will mount it and adjust it until you are happy with the position!
If you need us to pull a power cable from one part of the room to the IP network camera, just add another $40. If in doubt, do call for a discussion.
Really. With the high frame-rate that IP Cameras are putting out (i.e. up to 25fps), would the new FCS-8005 4-Port Capture Card be kind of under-performed when each single channel can run at only 12.50fps (4-port of max 50fps)?
Here's the real practical truth. In most real-world scenario there is always a budget on how much to spend on HDD. You know the typical saying, "Set to best recording format, but do not use too much HDD space!" To accomplish this, many installations therefore activate the use of motion detection feature & the reduction of maximum frame rate per channel, to about 12fps (Ah ha, the same magic number!).
The interesting thing to note is that the captured video was in all cases accepted by the management, when they (the videos) were played back. Well, think on that!
So, now you know it is okay to plug that 4-port video capture card into your PC and let it capture all the streaming videos from the existing (or new) analog cameras. Check out the FCS-8005 here.
